STS Ravenna will be held at Classis Ravenna Museum. One of the most important archeological mueums in Italy, Classis houses more than 600 artefacts that illustrate the long history of Ravenna.

STS Ravenna will be held in the modern conference and exhibition space on the first floor of the museum. 

During the breaks, delegates will have the opportunity to view the beautiful exhibits in the museum or take a stroll in the 1.5 hectares of parklands surrounding the museum.

In addition, the UNESCO World Heritage listed Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe is only a 5-minute walk away.

 

The Classis Ravenna Museum is located 6km south of Ravenna, in the village of Classe.

Shuttle buses will ferry delegates to/from Ravenna city centre during the conference days.

The museum is also accessible by train and bus line no. 4 from Ravenna Station.
