Abigail King publishes the award-winning Inside the Travel Lab, a blog that focuses on thoughtful luxury travel through the eyes of a writer and photographer who swapped a career as a doctor for a life on the road.

She has worked with Lonely Planet, the BBC, National Geographic Traveler and more interviewing Japanese artists, Nagasaki bomb survivors and fans of Paddington Bear.

Inside the Travel Lab carries accolades from Vanity Fair, Stylist, Grazia and more and has been described as one of “the best in the world” by National Geographic Traveler, Lonely Planet and the BBC. It has partnered with Canon, Cathay Pacific and more to create bespoke digital projects and has been a member of both iAmbassador and the Must Love Festivals teams since their inception.

Abigail is also one of the directors of Captivate, an elite group of UK travel bloggers who create digital storytelling projects for the over 30 UK readership.

Over the last year, she has become one of the prominent faces on Lonely Planet’s Periscope account, broadcasting live from around the world.
