Tourist destinations such as Hamburg’s HafenCity, the port, the River Elbe and Alster lake, the Michel church, the city centre, the CCH congress centre, the Millerntor Stadium, Reeperbahn and the TUI Operettenhaus theatre can all be conveniently reached in just a few minutes by foot or by public transport.

Envisaged by the American architect and designer Jordan Mozer, this design hotel with 128 rooms and suites forms a truly unique amalgamation of restaurant, lounges, bars and hotel. The east Restaurant with 230 dining seats has evolved from an insider’s tip into one of the trendiest restaurants in Hamburg. You can dine in our restaurant alongside the large window frontage or by candlelight in the vaulted basement of the old iron foundry. In the summer there is the option of “Dedon Island” in the inner courtyard – a little green oasis in the heart of St. Pauli with outdoor seating and cosy lounge areas.

The bars and lounges – Yakshi’s Bar, the Bacardi Lounge, the Bombay Lounge or in Dedon Island – are as diverse and comprehensive as the drinks menus and guests. Whether it be a meeting, conference, exclusive get-together or client event: the 12 daylit conference rooms, the east Private Cinema, the east Private Kitchen, the bar and lounges or the uppereast event hall always offer the ideal setting and are sure to turn your event into a real experience.

After a long day of sightseeing our guests can unwind in the east Mandarin Body & Soul spa, which features a sauna, relaxation area and sunny roof terrace. They can also stop by the east Sporting Club for a kinesis training session or an hour of personal training, after which they can rejuvenate themselves in the sauna or relaxing on the water beds in the “silent room”.
